@eyeziiick Weird, vrchat is fine with these sorts of critiques on the discord but when it comes to the reddit its not? Is there diff mods on the reddit or the same?

Melting doesn't work out, and scraping at it for a while with my utility knife has also not proven very effective

Spent some time with the broken flex for Index thumbstick capsense under a microscope today, trying to solder a jumper wire and see if I couldn't get it working again. Having a lot of trouble exposing the trace without obliterating it at the same time. Maybe scratch pen?

@vr_hai I do one avatar base per project, and source control my projects. I'll branch for things I'm not sure about/variants.

I'm going to try a one-avatar-per-project workflow and empirically find out how much I'll regret it. I've already moved all modular prefabs to their own local package.

@Skadidesu This RAM's packaging is not a box -- it's a plastic blister pack similar to this image

@nnaaa_vr Amazon always ships stuff that is smaller than a book like this here. The package of the RAM itself is still a cardboard box though.

Newegg sent the RAM I ordered in a thin USPS bubble mailer. Impressive. Hope these are still functional.

@Skadidesu Not at all, I usually receive components like that in a box with packing material. It's a multi-hundred-dollar kit of RAM that could break if the flexible packaging were just bent the wrong way as it traveled from the opposite coast.

@nnaaa_vr Isn’t that normal? Got a bunch of stuff that way, including RAM and SSDs.
