I am profoundly grateful to Nigerians from around the world for your prayers, calls, and solidarity following the incident at the ADC office in Benin yesterday. I especially appreciate your support during this difficult time for the family of the distinguished elder and former Governor of Edo State, Chief John Oyegun, who has served Nigeria honourably in various capacities, as well as for another former Governor, Professor Oserheimen Osunbor. Your support has strengthened my faith in our shared humanity and our collective hope for a better Nigeria. My deep gratitude is reflected in my renewed commitment to serve and build our nation.
Experiences of lawlessness are not new to me. Years ago, the violence and insecurity in Anambra shaped my determination to seek the governorship of the state, convinced that leadership must restore order, security, and public trust. Today, the growing lawlessness across our country calls upon all men and women of goodwill to step forward—not in fear but with a sense of responsibility. As Plato reminded us, the price good people pay for refusing to participate in government is to live under the rule of bad people.
This moment urges Nigerians to be even more resolute in electing leaders defined by competence, commitment, character, and compassion—leaders who prioritise the nation above self and service above power.
Together, with courage and unity, we can build the peaceful, secure, and prosperous Nigeria our people deserve.

Imagine an artist paints a beautiful masterpiece.
She shares it online to inspire people.
But anyone can copy it, sell prints, and make money without giving her credit or payment.
She can’t prove the original work was hers.
This is very similar to what happens with open source AI today.
🔲 The Problem With Open AI Models
Teams spend months and huge money training powerful AI models.
They release the model weights the model brain publicly to help innovation.
But once released:
🔹 Anyone can copy the model
🔹 Big companies can sell it as a paid service
🔹 Original creators get nothing
🔹 There’s no proof of ownership
This reduces the incentive to build the best open models.
🔲 What Ritual Is Trying to Build
Ritual is working on something called Verifiable Provenance.
Simple idea:
◼️ AI creators can add a hidden, permanent signature inside their model.
Like a tiny invisible signature inside a painting
you can’t see it, but you can always prove who made it.
🔲 How It Works (Simple Explanation)
Ritual is researching a technique called watermarking (project: vTune).
They insert a unique cryptographic signature into the model during training using a very small amount of special data.
✅ Doesn’t reduce model performance
✅ Hard to remove
✅ Proves ownership forever
🔲 Why This Could Be Important
◼️ Fair rewards for creators
If someone uses a watermarked model, the creator can prove ownership and potentially earn from its usage.
This helps build a sustainable open AI ecosystem.

You can verify where a model came from.
Is it original, Safe, Modified? Now you can know.
◼️ New AI economy
AI models can become verifiable digital assets traded, licensed, and rewarded automatically.
