Having published riverthames.co.uk for 25 years I have met and spoken to a lot of boaters- but none I know would willingly pay to cross the English channel in the company of 20 plus others in a flimsy open boat.

Never got to speak with them but what a great place to take your first walk as a married couple. I hope they are still together
