Because a character like Paul on Invincible is rare. He's not evil, he's not morally grey, he's not a tragic hero, or an asshole.
He's a genuine kind human being who cares and uplifts the characters around him. There's only 2 other characters like that.

its kinda boring that for the intro its just different Avatars
it also feels weird that Aang and Zuko took stolen land and was like "it's actually for EVERYONE now" instead of just giving back to who they stole it from and finding somewhere else

smth discussed in creative writing class is that "ideas are dead on arrival." when you're writing a story based off ideas instead of conflict, you're writing characters who talk about how they're feeling, never put them through anything. it's just a blog post, not a story

@Gundamritter no, class dynamics like the bourgeoise and intelligentsia beeing dissatisfied with the arsitocracy and viewing liberalism as the new step in national development, the problem is that people somehow find it weird that this was the case and it wasnt just a vague "the people"

@purplepIuto It's soooooo fast paced. It genuinely reads like a wiki article. The show does such a good spacing out moments. Ive read a few random issues for the same of power scaling and its such a problem

im really not enjoying the comic so far but this one scene i will admit is cooler, really sells the strength gap and makes the viltrumite threat feel more real that not only do we not see mark bleed until omni man, but theres hardly any gore at all till he kills the guardians
