@thedatabunny With STP, traffic from a broadcast domain follows a determined path instead of flowing randomly or sporadically across any path, giving you effective control over Layer 2 traffic direction.

@thedatabunny Spanning tree is my favorite protocol data bunny It acts sort of like a backbone for Layer 2 networks. Asides preventing loops, it also prevents congestion/bandwidth exhaustion by enforcing stable, predictable traffic flow instead of chaotic flooding.
