Interesting Highlights from the FASTR Round 3 Analyst Training #FASTR #NOIPollsVoices #FMOHSW #GFF #PrimaryHealthCare #HealthSystemStrengthening #EvidenceBasedPolicy
NOIPolls@NOIPolls

The Frequent Assessment and Systems Tools for Resilience (FASTR) Nigeria Round 3 Survey has officially commenced with a comprehensive three-day training of analysts, marking the next phase in ongoing efforts to strengthen system performance through frequent assessments. Conducted in continued partnership with the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (@Fmohnigeria ) and the Global Financing Facility (@theGFF ), the training included a detailed review of the survey tools, practical role-play sessions, and concluded with a pilot to validate readiness for implementation. The sessions were highly interactive and engaging, reflecting the analysts’ growing experience from participating across multiple rounds. This round is significant as it expands the FASTR framework to include workforce and community engagement components, alongside existing areas such as challenges, service delivery, infrastructure and supplies. By broadening the scope of assessment, Round 3 provides a holistic view of Nigeria’s Primary Health Care (PHC) system, strengthening the depth and relevance of the data generated for decision-making. As implementation begins, we look forward to Round 3 generating deeper insights that will inform evidence-based decision-making and support continuous improvement across the health sector. We also anticipate the outcomes from this round and how they will contribute to strengthening Nigeria’s Primary Health Care system (@NphcdaNG ). #FASTR #NOIPollsVoices #FMOHSW #GFF #PrimaryHealthCare #HealthSystemStrengthening #EvidenceBasedPolicy

New Tax, Who Dis? 🧐 The Deep Trust Gap in Nigeria’s New Policy Would you pay more tax if you didn’t trust where the money was going? 🧐 A new NOI Polls report shows that 44% of Nigerians have ZERO confidence that tax revenue will be used for infrastructure. With 54% of the country opposing the new tax regime, we’re looking at why the communication gap is so wide and what Nigerians actually want in exchange for their money (hint: it’s jobs and roads!). Watch what Nigerians on the streets say. 🎥👇

@PLACNG @cnwangwu @OshajiP @Matthewbycredo @FCDOGovUK Despite huge support for the Special Seats Bill for women the constitution review/bill should not be passed until it includes provisions for persons living with disabilities. In its current form, the bill is exclusive than inclusive, failing to represent them. - Mr. Jake Epelle
