If we had relied only on Meta/Google ads, scaling would have been much harder for us.
Not because the product isn’t strong, but because we started largely in men’s wear (~85% of our revenue), which is an extremely crowded space.
And when your product is a plain solid, you can’t really communicate fabric through an ad. Comfort, breathability customers understand it only after they wear it.
So new customer acquisition on Meta was tough initially, even with strong repeat.
What changed things for us was X.
It helped us build trust first. People discovered us through conversations, not just ads. That trust drove first purchases, repeat, and eventually made Meta work better for us.
In categories where the difference isn’t visible, trust and distribution matter as much as the product.
