@XaviercMiller It was day 2, and they had 2 rounds total. So 3 rounds have passed. I do agree it’s more than just NIL. The difference between him and Caleb, Travis, & any other black high earning NIL player, is his father. He’s got a lot of power & influence behind his last name. Rest my case.

It’s only been 2 rounds, and If Travis got picked because of his calm humble demeanor that means it’s not just about humbling high earning NIL players. I think ppl are just having a hard time accepting that they’re possibly wrong about their evaluation of him. 50 out of the 64 players picked so far have been black so it’s clearly not a black-white thing.

I thought Shedeur was a top 10 talent and definitely should be a top 5 pick, but obviously I may be wrong. Maybe he’s not as good as we thought. Teams aren’t skipping out on a player they think is great just because he may be cocky or arrogant. All the NFL cares about is winning, if they thought he was good enough they 100% would have taken him.

@XaviercMiller I agree with the sentiment 1000%. My only issue is, for the small fraction of us and programs that benefited from DEI, whats the answer when the rug is pulled? It was too soon. Sucks to pull the rug on the one lifeline that was helping a small % of us get ahead.
