Late summer cricket action from the Isle of Sodor. Stepney, visiting from the Bluebell railway, working Percy's branch line, returns Caroline the car to the local cricket club, after she had chased after him to retrieve the match ball that had been hit into one of his trucks.

For those not privy to various messages with @EnglishBob1 yesterday, this is 60 years of diesel traction passing @KivetonParkFC Hard Lane Ground. They moved here in 1960 when the M1 was built on their previous ground, and moved on in 2017. It is now the home of @RenishawRangers

Throwback Thursday. Easter Sat 1983 saw a 2-2 draw between South Liverpool and Tamworth in the NPL. Of the 102 spectators, the only one visible appears more interested in the passing large logo class 56. The club folded in 1991 and Holly Park became South Liverpool Parkway.

So, test Cricket finally returns today. The GWR 150 celebrations saw steam specials on the Portishead branch, and 7819 Hinton Manor is seen passing a players huddle at Bedminster CC, with the Clifton suspension bridge as a backdrop. Source of picture unknown, so don't sue me.
