@BadFilmTakes1 Twin Peaks, The Wire, Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Veep and I could go on before I get to Mad Men

The Breaking Bad vs. The Sopranos debate is kind of moot when you realize that Mad Men secretly clears both. It’s the most galaxy-brained version of what historical fiction can be. We are all just characters in the thrall of the changing tides of culture and history.

It’s crazy how Mad Men really is the greatest show of all time

Vince Gilligan gives an update on #Pluribus S2:
"Carol remains front & center in our show, played by the great Rhea Seehorn. We've got plenty of fun stuff coming up for all four characters & we're looking forward to people seeing it in 8 or 9 years when we get S2 finished."

@TheCinesthetic first exposure I had to Lynch was watching this at 16 not long after it's home video release. I LOVED it!
maybe not having seen the series helped me appreciate it--no expectations for plot lines being answered or certain characters returning.
masterful film making though

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992) was widely disliked on release. Over time it’s been reevaluated as one of David Lynch’s most haunting works. Even Quentin Tarantino once said the film made him want to stop watching Lynch for a while.

@Ericdeissler @jayquintana_jr @BestMovieMom oh I wouldn't call him a good actor either, but he can be funny!
English

@BestMovieMom I can only think of two American directors who are good actors, Lynch and Scorsese. Welles, of course, is a great director, but it feels like he's an actor first.
