So, the Federal Liberal Government has lowered the gas tax. My Conservative Premier has refused to do so. This morning, Andrew Scheer tweets out saying that only "Conservatives want to cut gas tax and save you money...." Which is literally the exact opposite of what has happened.

Adoptable Kye 🐾 Hey there, it’s Kye checking in! My foster mom says I’ve been doing amazing lately. I’ve discovered the off-leash park, and honestly? It’s my favourite place in the world. Every evening, I head out for about an hour with a group of people and dogs, and I even have a best friend I love to wrestle with at the end of our walk. I have great recall, which is helpful because I love exploring the treed areas. I’ve been wonderful with other dogs, though lately I’ve been a little unsure around unneutered males. I don’t start trouble, but my foster mom keeps an eye on me and calls me away when needed. Now… I do have one very silly habit. I like to run up to unsuspecting people, jump up, and give them surprise eyebrow kisses. Apparently not everyone appreciates this as much as I do, but I think it’s hilarious. I can also get a little mouthy when I’m excited, but I’m gentle and still learning my manners. I’m fun, social, playful, and ready for a family who will keep helping me be the best boy I can be. Think I could be your new best friend? Send in an application and the SCARS folks will have my people call your people.

Reminder that the UCP government has increased the provincial education property tax portion in Edmonton and Calgary. For 2026, the province increased its share by 21% in Calgary and a similar increase in Edmonton. This is the UCP at work, not the feds or immigrants.
