That's "a plan" not "the plan". It would've involved, among other things, fixing the underground pipes, which Trump isn't doing. This means they still can't properly circulate the water. That means bird poop is going to continue to feed algae, so the water will be just as green as before -- only now they've painted the bottom dark blue so it won't appear as green. This is a cosmetic fix. The water the feeds the pool will come from municipal water supplies, so for the next few weeks, will be a lot less green. The liner is a pretty expensive fix over simply regrouting the cracks, and while it does indeed fix the leaks marginally better, it's largely cosmetic.

Georgia Tech was built after Civil War as part of The Reconstruction — therefore, GT took no part in Civil War. UGA however played a VERY active role in Confederacy and their campus was built by slaves… 🤦‍♂️
