Canada’s Integrated Threat Assessment Centre concurs with The Abraham Global Peace Initiative (AGPI) that a violent extremist attack against Canada’s Jewish community is a realistic possibility in the coming months. As the Centre warns, “a violent extremist attack targeting the Jewish community in Canada is a realistic possibility in the next six months,” and further cautions that “the most likely scenario of an attack targeting the Jewish community is a lone actor using unsophisticated methods against easily accessible targets.” This reinforces AGPI’s December 19, 2025 warning to Prime Minister Mark Carney that “this is Canada’s Bondi moment.” Immediate action is required to protect lives and prevent tragedy.
