@SmallholdersUK No dig-Charles dowding. We planted a food forest with digging just for planting. The rest of area was mulched with cardboard and then woodchip or straw.

Which takes us to our fruit cages. They contain plums, cherries, blackcurrants and such- more to be added. When the fruits come, we have nets to put over the top. But, we want to get rid of the grass in the cages– and we have no idea how. Any ideas that don’t cost a fortune?
