The bookies very rarely get things wrong and they are now putting Newcastle United at 12-1 to be relegated following Eddie Howe leaving the club! How on earth within a year have we gone from being in the Champion League to this! Whenever we give any constructive criticism or saying anything that could be perceived 'negative' by saying things as we see it we know there is around 5% of fans who will say 'oh your a mackem' or similar but this surely should be a wakeup that we have taken a big step back this window. Now we will go into this season with hope and enthusiasm as we don't know how this unknown young players and new manager will do but considering for us as a club to really progress to the next level we need regular European money - it seems like the club's new strategy is not moving forward in that direction. Crazy when we should be kicking on with recent success and big money from the outgoing players - right now we are living in hope that some statement signings come in. We are expecting a busy rest of the window not but the club needs some statement signings surely to give us any chance of Europe and to give fans some much needed positivity!
