Have you visited the Chantry Flat Recreation Area yet? This area recently reopened after four years. If you go, please consider arriving early in the day. With only 80 parking spaces in the paved lot and NO parking along the main road or in front of gates, this area can get packed fast, especially on weekends.

@jadasakura @Angeles_NF I spend a lot of time outdoors in Southern California, what you can do at big pines is park on the side of the road with your adventure pass before the trailhead. What chantry flats is doing now is negating this option for us, soon it will be privatized too…

@Angeles_NF I know it is not, therefore if there is no code specified sign citing why I cannot legally park here then I can therefore park there… the rocks you placed are an obstruction but not real policy, statute, or code. You cannot tow on unmarked roadsides because there are rocks.
