You didn't murder anything, many worlds theory and even multiverse theory do postulate the possibility of multiple timelines existing simultaneously, which is fine. The issue is you can't explain how we shifted timelines. So please try again. Also pilot wave theory deals with particle wave duality its a counter to the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics.
