There is no shortage of jobs in South Africa, there are more jobs than population of working age.
Neil@Neil57536533

@MxolisiBob Yes Japan has more jobs than people so they allow some foreigners in to solve that problem which leads to other problems. We have more people than jobs. Hence the unemployment rate and low wages meaning you can only afford to drive around in taxis.

Panyaza Lesufi has handed Gauteng to the DA in 2029. Lusifism has failed. The party rhetoric is tired. Service delivery has collapsed. Infrastructure is broken. The first step is winning the city of Joburg, the next is the province of Gauteng. Only the DA can rebuild.

Ever since the dawn of democracy in 1994, a province in South Africa only went bankrupt once and Julius Malema was dictating what happens to the purse of that province. The province is Limpopo and it was in the 4th administration (2009-14). Now his party is in charge of the economic hub of the country, Gauteng. 💔🚩

I can’t believe it’s been 8 years since you left us Mama. Today we remember our mother, the one who took us in and nurtured us as young activists. Mama was a militant who never shied away from facing the barrel of the gun of apartheid. But most off all she was to us a safe and warm refuge. As we remember you mama, the only way we can is to continue your work. One of an equal South Africa, premised on democratic ideals, brining to life the dictum, you never died but you multiplied.

Comrade President and CIC. We remain firm in your continued guidance and the mandate given unto us by the mighty EFF. We internalise this directive and shall with discipline and precision heed the call of the revolution as mandate President.
Julius Sello Malema@Julius_S_Malema

Politics is about patience and perseverance; your mandate is a clean audit and financial stability for the Gauteng Province. Congratulations Commissar @DungaLeko, in you we trust. Ndaa

Treating the causes looks like: Liveable wages - DA opposes minimum wage Better health care - DA opposes NHI Affordable housing - DA relies on “the market” Invest in education - DA cut teachers contracts They exist to sustain exploited labour & privatise🤷🏽‍♂️(and ANC chose them)
Ryan Cummings@Pol_Sec_Analyst

The number of people in the comments coming with the myopic 'But policing is a national competence' argument as if i'm obtuse to this fact. Policing is a reactive measure against crime. It treats its symptoms not its causes, much of which is driven by socio-economics and policy

🇿🇦 South African President Cyril Ramaphosa says that the country will not abandon its DEI policies, known as “Black Economic Empowerment (BEE).” “Those who say BEE and affirmative action must stop are just dreaming,” he said. South Africa has strict laws that mandate race-based hiring practices. A new law called the Employment Equity Amendment Act sets hiring targets for 2025–2030 across 18 economic sectors. Some workforce targets aim for 90–96% of employees to come from designated groups, which include Black people, women, and people with disabilities (minimum 3%). That means that if a company has more than 5% white men, it could face penalties of up to 10% of its income.
