Bill C-9 does not target faith.
It addresses hate, intimidation, and harassment including protecting religious communities from being targeted by other religions.
In other words, it helps ensure that no religion is used to justify harm against another.
Fundamental freedoms including religion and expression are protected under the
Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
When political messaging begins to resemble rally-style symbolism, it raises serious questions about intent.

This is not a joke.
Premier Danielle Smith travelled to Saudi Arabia, accepted high-level hospitality, and flew on a private jet linked to a foreign government.
Now Albertans are asking simple questions:
Were any gifts received?
Were they declared immediately?
Was every detail disclosed publicly and transparently?
When you hold the highest office in Alberta, even the appearance of conflict of interest matters.
This isn’t about rumours.
It’s about standards.
Public trust is earned through full transparency, not technical compliance or delayed disclosures.
If nothing improper happened, then release everything clearly and completely.
Leadership requires accountability.
Albertans deserve that much.
