Pearl is novel which is nice to see in the doldrums of the current crypto market I'm curious on how or if it will be able to survive the early miner overhangs that make new PoW continuous issuance projects suffer. Ppl are spinning fleets of datacenter grade chips to throw at this, costs are high, PRL token utility looks far away. AI bitcoin narrative is attractive but early mining dynamics of BTC with laptops feels categorically different to H100 mining At these prices the game looks more like a very clever 3,3 situation than one that can yield persistent cost structure changes for inference. Thinking in public as the team seems quite sharp and a cosign from a real co like Together is meaningful. Not to mention the community surrounding is active so im hoping Sisyphus et al. will tell me why im thinking about this wrong and how this opportunity is worth 60 bucks at least. Tbh i hope so, I respect all pumps as is tradition.

@lesabrefomo @kelxyz_ You forget one thing: people are desperate to be exposed in a sector like ai with a coin that actually proofs it works, with clear demand. Bittensor reached >1b mcap (not fdv) in otc only when btc was at 20k, just because of ai, with zero product. prl >>> tao

if you have been in crypto long enough you become very aware of circ vs fdv take a quick look at ANY project that launched with very low float and see how the token performed 3, 6, 12, 18 months post tge and then come back to me. doesnt matter how hyped or legit the project was. 99% of the time it is the same exact outcome

as an experienced miner, my two cents for PRL: the market is probably anchoring too much on public miner economics. private optimized miners already achieve 4x+ the hashrate on identical hardware. real production costs for sophisticated players are much lower than ppl think.

@Auri_0x @prlnet PRL has roughly ~1% of BTCs hashrate after ~20 days (different algorithms ofc), even on day1/2 you found like 5 blocks a day on a 400$/day h200 setup. There‘s like 10tsd H100/H200 on the network rn. Nobody in crypto can farm this, its real companies

It’s PRL. Only sharing because I think it is wise to not gatekeep. I also would prefer we get over with the initial hype phase + fud phase too (this is an unfudable coin imo) I am as excited and enthusiastic about @prlnet as I was about Bittensor during OTC days. The only difference is that because Bittensor came slightly before ChatGPT and Ai wasn’t a central theme at the time, you could have gotten Tao at an insane steal of a discount. This is not the case with PRL. And understandably so. Good luck getting the best price. Personally, I am investing and DCAing because even at current valuations I see it as a good price.
