@WolstatSun To finish 5th Toronto needs both Atlanta and Orlando to lose otherwise it will be a 3 team tie and Atlanta as the division champ will stay 5th (stupid rule)

Have I got this right? Finish 5th: Toronto beats Brooklyn; Atlanta loses in Miami. 6th: Atlanta wins in Miami, Toronto wins. OR Atlanta loses, Toronto wins, Orlando wins. 7th: Toronto loses, Philadelphia wins, Orlando loses. 8th: Toronto loses, Philadelphia and Orlando win.

@WolstatSun Not entirely, we need to win + Atlanta AND Orlando to lose to finish 5th. If there’s a three-way tie, division winner takes the higher seed (ATL), we would be the 6th.

The Raptors will have to try again Sunday to clinch a playoff spot and avoid the play-in. Likeliest outcome is now Knicks-Raptors in the 3-6 matchup but not a lock.
