Got really sick after GDC. Took a long time to recover. Now that @playSIPHER have been in Early Access for more than 1 month, we have some data we can share. Diving deep into data since we went Open Early Access in 8 countries, with Singapore being the 9th one week late. Since then, we have released 5 additional Updates with our 6th coming soon in the next weeks. Hindsight, lucky we kept the Early Access contained, we saw significant crash rates and drop rates in the early funnel of our users, due to some main reasons: 1️⃣ download speed → CDN problem. Fixed. 2️⃣ installation & compiling speed → Code problem. Fixed 3️⃣ Initial download size too large → DLC Manager. Almost done. 4️⃣ Too long of a FTUE → Fixed. @gabrielleydon told me this when we met at GDC, should have moved much faster. All these are important issues we need to iron out prior to releasing globally across all markets, especially ones with lesser Internet infrastructure. User Insights: Can we attract web2 players and retain? Yes! With our web3 economy intentionally not turned on, we focus our attention on the “fun”. Here are some interesting insights we’ve analyzed based on our Golden Cohort analysis (keeping in mind the sample size is not super large to be statistically significant yet). Thanks @fareastwitcher for suggesting this! In terms of content burn rate - Dolphins typically require approximately 15 days - Minnows around 20 days - non-paying users ~30 days to reach 2/3 of our entire Early Access Content. It means we have some more tweaking and map building to do, to retain the "feeling of progression" while ensuring content burn rate is in check. Remainder of my time, has been extremely focused on - planning, designing and building out the remaining features we have for Global Launch, - strategizing our live ops content - tuning our GTM & UA strategies all based on metrics we’re collecting live from our Early Access and learning across all the different successful live ops games. Looking at Supercell’s success, clearly gameplay is Queen and Live Ops is King and you need the manpower to make live ops work. We are a team of 140, what the hell are we building? Here’s the very shortened list of features we have in store, in no particular release order, many are coming for July Launch. PC Version (Steam, Epic, Blustacks, Mumu...) New Level Clear Conditions (survive until X, protect the Y, destroy the Z...) Lots of new Augments Squad Play - play with intersubjective AI Bots Chapter 2: Zendor Story, Endless & Corruption LiveOps Season 1 Content Single & Coop Boss Raid Mode Spaceships in Action Consumable System Squad Synergy Passive Aura Equipment Primary & Character Augment Reroll Guild Boss Raids Guild System + FTUE In-battle Emoji System & In Game Chat Arena Shop & Arena Currency Player flags In-Game Marketplace Web Onchain NFT Marketplace Blockchain In/Out Portal Seasonal Pass, Event Pass Player Avatar Cosmetic Progression Crafting UX Improvement Capsule Opening Improvement Home Lobby Revamp & Guild Hall ...and more... Just snipping a slice from our roadmap planning for just Sipher Odyssey, and boy have we will need to ship. It’s not much, but it’s honest work. --Market-- My entire CT timeline has been about memecoin and how it’s the most egalitarian thing some people have seen. I think there's merits in memecoin and the financialization of attention economy. If you can financialize attention and social clout, why not the contribution to "fun"? I remain commited in my mission more than ever that I penned 3 years ago, building fun games leveraging blockchain, to have real fun experiences to push forward the adoption of web3. tinnguyennotes.wordpress.com/2021/07/31/why… Psyched about what’s in store for Sipher Odyssey, for @AtherLabs Collective, for our [redacted], [redacted] web3 AI, and [redacted], the thing that will power all of this. For now, i’ll leave with this: This space will succeed with real products and real adoption. This road is the less travelled one, it will take longer to get there, but nothing worth doing is easily done overnight anyway. Bull or bear, let’s keep building.

Ngl seeing how people value their money sending funds to an address to get nothing, not even their own family, friends or charity makes me feel [redacted] In the other hands there's always people of good will here on CT Thanks to my bro @NexUniq a longtime helper a CT Legend 👑
