@TheHumbleBettor Because Svajda wasn`t injured, he tanked/threw the match to help Leyton Hewitt`s son, while already knew he will be in the main draw.. Standard procedure. And not the first one from Svajda, a rat will always be a rat.

Does anyone have any idea how oddsmakers could be this confident in a player who couldn’t move less than 12 hours ago? It’s projected to be 88 degrees and humid for match time, what do oddsmakers know that we dont? Did Zachary Svajda fake his injury today?

@johnjuneau7 @TheTennisTalker Yes John, the benefit of a doubt when he is doing this week in week out...might you don`t know enough to have an opinion, so shouldn`t have one, but here you are... He is playing in a few hours, he knew what he is doing and threw the match and helped a #700 to get in. Tanking

@TheTennisTalker We never give anyone the benefit of the doubt. He could have been sick and not injured. Why do we jump to conclusions but only conclusions that are nefarious? Either way if he has a couple days off, he can recover. Not his fault he was the lucky loser. He was just given a chance.

Should never be allowed to happen Zachary Svajda 🇺🇸 retires 0-2 down in 3rd set to Cruz Hewitt 🇦🇺 He was 6-1 5-3 up ...... Now he has conveniently got a lucky loser spot into the Washington main draw Complete shambles of tennis integrity again

@Pickleballcap @TheTennisTalker That`s always a dumb argument. So if I`m a barber, but a shit one,and can`t make enough money,am I allowed to knock out your wife and take her purse since I need the money? No. Match fixing is a crime, not making enough means you`re not good enough, selling games never justified

@Oma_with_a_H @TheTennisTalker The situation was the same like with Davydenko. The investigation concluded that their was market manipulation, they have found texts etc But couldn`t connect those texts and manipulation to Davydenko, nor Bashilasvili Sooner or later a mad gambler will do something to them

@Oma_with_a_H @TheTennisTalker The main problem is that spotting match fixing is extremely easy, proving it nearly impossible, which the Karatsev-Bashilasvili case showed us all. Everybody knows they`re notorious match fixers, nobody can prove it. ITIA was after Bashilasvili for 7 years, yet failed.

@notthat9005 @TheTennisTalker Extremely corrupt they’ll argue with you but you’re right. They just don’t want to accept the truth in their faces. The unexplainable keep happening but there’s always a ‘sane’ explanation for it.

@vchoeee @TheTennisTalker I mean, they do, but they very rarely go after high profile players. ITIA is funded by ATP, so it`s not in their intention to hurt the business of their primarily money source... ITIA should be independent, but they aren`t.

@KennySuch4 @TheTennisTalker In other words, you`re making up a strawman argument. You are commenting everywhere, which takes time. This comment that I write takes more time then look it up on google. So either do your own research, or get fucked. Nobody is here to pamper you and your needs.

@KennySuch4 @TheTennisTalker It takes longer than you do a google search in about 5 seconds.... But we both know you are not interested in the truth, if you were, you would`ve done it already. Furthermore, ITIA`s website is an open book. Get to it G, good luck

@MarcelduCoudray @TheTennisTalker You, as a tennis coach(if its true) asking this for real? If anyone should know how many times players are tanking and fixing, is you....You trained Davydenko who was one of the pioneers of match fixing... If your profile is real, and you coached them, just STFU

@TheTennisTalker When people desperately trying to prove that there is no match fixing, and people are just conspiracy theorists... is like when a child recognizes that there is no Santa Claus for the first time, they try to resist on molecular level, all cells are fighting against reality.

@TheTennisTalker What integrity tennis ever had? Only blind fanboys don`t see what`s going on. Players tanking and match fixing every other game. ITIA got caught over 300 match fixers in 4 years, including a syndicate of 181 players. Tennis is provenly the most corrupt sport in the world.

@lilax101 @TheTennisTalker "Barely could move" LOL.....so just because he is acting injured, I should believe him, just because you are stupid enough to fall for such an act? Tanking qualies is extremely common and standard. I`m really sorry for your kind, you all so naive and blind....crazy

@notthat9005 @TheTennisTalker It makes no sense to corrupt a match like this with such strong media coverage. Stop being conspiracy theorists. The American could barely move yesterday. He'll lose to Vukic, and we'll meet again in this commentary section after the match to see who's right.

@notthat9005 @TheTennisTalker We're talking about the ATP Washington tournament here, one of the main tournaments, attended by players who have won hundreds of thousands of dollars. Furthermore, these tournaments enjoy enormous visibility and cameras are pointed everywhere.

@lilax101 @TheTennisTalker You made up an argument which has nothing to do with the original statement. Match fixing happens on all level, even former top 10 players like Davydenko, Karatsev, Bashilasvili were involved. You don`t know shit, you talking to talk. Your opinion don`t matter, facts do.

@notthat9005 @TheTennisTalker The data speaks for itself and is available online; you can search for it, as I won't do it for you. In tennis, the most susceptible markets are the smaller ITF markets, where prize money barely covers the players' travel expenses, and players are easily manipulated.

@lilax101 @TheTennisTalker ATP is an umbrella, includes ITF, challengers etc. Furthermore, top 100 players was involved in that 181 players, so even if you would be right -which you are not-, its still ATP issue. You`re welcome

@AntottoG @TheTennisTalker Oh jeez, you can`t be that naive....players get informed before the match unofficially.... Home tourney, home soil, their own player..... Interestingly, players that get miraculously injured and retire, or lose as a heavy heavy top dog, always get a wild card...common man

@FootprintAmster @SkySports Sure...He only won a slam because Novak got DQ-d and Zverev shat his pants against a cramping Thiem from 2.5 sets up The guy had no chance before, nor after, nothing to do with injury. He made 4 finals but never could overcome Nadal/Novak.Playing choker Zverev that final was a gift
