Ignorance is truly a blessing and you seem determined to protect it. First, calm down with the copying narrative. South Asia has shared history, shared languages, shared clothes, shared food and yes shared wedding aesthetics. You cannot trademark flowers and garlands and declare them exclusive property of one community. A "varmala" or garland exchange is a cultural practice, not a religious pillar. In a Muslim marriage the only actual religious requirement is the nikah with offer and acceptance and its conditions. Valima is a Sunnah. Everything else such as mehndi, mayoon, baraat, jahaiz (and yes Varmala) and similar functions are cultural additions that developed over centuries of living in the same region. If you want to talk religion strictly, then most modern wedding extravagance on both sides has little to do with faith anyway. The real issue here is not copying. It is the obsession with turning ordinary cultural overlap into a nationalist shouting match.

If there is an inevitable reduction in the ICC's revenue caused by Pakistan's forfeit and future uncertainty, the least affected countries, given other strong sources of revenue, will be India, Australia and England. The most affected will be those completely reliant on revenues from the ICC; not just the smaller and associate nations but also the West Jndies, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and...... Pakistan!
