Someday, after mastering the winds, the waves, the tides, and gravity, we shall harness... the energies of love, and then, for the second time in the history of the world, man will have discovered fire. (Pierre Teilhard de Chardin)

@LisaChristiePhD Your Levy quote reminds me of this: "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience." - Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

One day ... we'll come to understand that this whole planet is conscious... we may not want to know what it thinks of us. ~ clairexgriffin

The first time I consciously left my body, I projected my center of awareness over 2,000 miles away. #OBE

JUST PUBLISHED! New peer-reviewed article on a study of energy medicine healing techniques concludes that reproducible biologic changes were induced by healing energy. Very exciting scientific verification of the potential for healing with intent! buff.ly/2LbrNgu

When the entire world is spinning out, the most powerful thing any of us can do is to cultivate inner stillness. There we find deeper layers of wisdom as well as internal guidance which, when resonating with the same energies in other people, will re-harmonize & repair the world.

Hey, friend. Were you a smart kid who always heard about how smart you were and are now not feeling so smart? Are you, in fact, feeling fairly shitty about yourself? This thread is for you.

Good reminder to meditate: Contemplation hastens the evolution of the human species. Whoever finds this out and practices it will hasten the evolutionary future of the human family. —Thomas Keating

During the last several decades, a new story has indeed emerged, a new cosmology that brings matters of science and matters of faith into a space where they no longer need collide, but can complement each other and render a fuller picture of what is true. cac.org/the-universe-s…

Only after thousands of “communions” does its truth dawn on us, and the mystery of God’s incarnation in Christ then consciously continues on this earth. We bear the mystery of God through embodiment.

This sacramental act is intentionally shocking, sexual, oral, mystical, and momentous. We are physically taking another person inside of ourselves to experience divine union!

Yes, sexuality can be dangerous, but so is the Gospel itself. Just as we have often domesticated the Gospel to make it into a means of social order and control, so we have avoided the scandal of the Incarnation to avoid God in most dangerous disguise: this material world.
