Anita Desoso, Former Deputy Propaganda Secretary/Womens Organizer/Vice Chairman of NDC vents her frustration/anger at the Government.
This one too, they should insult me and say I put the words in her mouth.
@MrIrish3 Sometimes I wonder whether we all watched the same show or it’s just a case of tickling yourself and laughing and claiming that something is laughable! Asem ooo, okay! State three ways he schooled Randy????
This guy schooled Randy Abbey and it was kra b3 hw3😂. Long story short, Hon Michael Aidoo rendered Randy Abbey useless on Newsfile.
Clearly, Randy doesn’t know what he’s doing at Cocobod. He needs to be sacked immediately.
@MrIrish3 This guy? Did you guys watch the show? The guy didn't even understand carrying forward supply deficits and how that affects pricing. Such Delusion.😂
According to Peter Otokunor, John Mahama’s choice to hand the Ghana Cocoa Board CEO position to Randy Abbey rather than him was nothing short of arrant nonsense.

The CocoBod managemrnt is causing more harm than good to Ghana's Cocoa sector.
Ever since the CEO publicly announced that Cocobod has over 50,000 tonnes of unsold cocoa beans, global cocoa prices have plummeted by about $500, dropping from $4,200 to $3,700 per tonne. The cocoa industry is highly sensitive, and he cannot afford to speak as if they were still in opposition.
As mentioned previously, back in March, his statement about increasing the FOB (Free on Board) price led farmers and Licensed Buying Companies (LBCs) to hoard cocoa supplies.
Similarly, the day he revealed the 50,000 tonnes of unpurchased cocoa, Reuters reported it, and the market reacted immediately. Prices have been declining every single day since then.
He himself acknowledged that the market had fallen to around $4,200, which was accurate at the time. But today, it has sunk even further to $3,700 and it could drop more due to ongoing comments from Ghana's Chief Executive of Cocobod.
He seems to forget that, as the head of one of the world's major cocoa producers, his words have a direct and profound impact on global market dynamics.
The Government needs to quickly address this Cocoa farmers issues within the next few hours or else, the market would react again.
You don’t tell your market, that you have Cocoa available that you cant sell and then give them news about your farmers agitating for payments, money you dont have.
Your buyers will drop the prices cos they know you are desperate.
