Over the past two days, our 2026 #TeamSISD Campus Teachers of the Year (TOY) proudly represented their campuses and the power of public education during TOY Elite 8 interviews. These exceptional educators met with students, parents, community members, and administrators, showcasing the excellence, dedication, and impact found in our amazing classrooms every day.

Socorro ISD delayed start Monday, Jan. 26 due to freezing temperatures, icy roads Due to the freezing temperatures and anticipated icy road conditions, Socorro ISD schools will operate on a delayed start schedule tomorrow, Jan. 26. All schools will start two hours from their normal starting time. Morning Pre-K three-year-old classes are canceled for the day. Transportation will be provided two hours from normal pick-up times. Breakfast service will be provided per the two-hour delay. As more information is available, we will provide updates via the district website at sisd.net, phone messages, social media, the news media and/or from the District Service Center.

🩷 #TeamSISD is excited to invite the district’s military-connected parents to SISD’s inaugural military ball, “Love is a Battlefield,” on Feb. 14, from 6 to 11 p.m. in the EPCC Auditorium, at 9050 Viscount, Building A. This event is free and for adults only. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m.. Please dress in cocktail attire.
