I am suspecting it's a fake profile just trying to gain followers. Makes no sense. She's asian, YC didn't make any announcement, and account is from India and hiring in SF, no company website shared. Usually YC advices not to do hiring during the batch, but this person is hiring right away even before any annoucement. Something seems off, but could be wrong.

Sorry @claudeai I can’t keep paying for a product that’s unusable the constant rate limit makes your product difficult to use for any serious productivity. I’ll be back when you get your act together.

@iDeepakGautam @asaio87 Writing code is the easiest part, architecture is what's hard. Claude can write logic very good if you scope it down and tell it what exactly you want changed, but the overall architecture, it's still very bad.

@nroute_ @asaio87 Why don't claude do all this of it can write code.. technically, architecture decisions are easier then writing code...thru claim clause to have phd level reasoning, then it should be able to do all.. reality is it can't do anything properly...it do just half baked things

@venturetwins Don't think I can ever go back to a word where LLMs weren't a thing. GPT 4, Opus 3 and o3 blew my mind when I first used it, hope it keeps happening thanks to scaling laws.

I am not too big on AI agents, I don't think they can make a remotely simple novel idea. However, I think he is right. 95% of my code is all AI right now, and it works on a very complex code bare spanning multiple microservices. You need to narrow what the AI is working on, and scope it as much as you can, approve all of the changes manually while looking at the code. I wouldn't be surprised if 100% of the code is written by AI for most people in a year. In fact this is good news. SWE jobs was never about programming, it was always about architectural decisions.

I tried Claude Code a few days ago, good tool, average results... give it anything more complex and its messing things up. Here is an idea: give this guy claude code $200 max subscription, and film him while he develops an app. lets see how he flops... Zuck said this exact same thing 2 years ago, we are nowhere near there..

Anthropic CEO: “In the next 3 to 6 months, AI will write 90% of the code, and within 12 months, nearly all code may be generated by AI.” the job isn’t coding anymore, it’s telling machines what to build.

@fchollet This doesn't make sense. If AGI does show me it will also erode any agency of the "focus class" as well.

A lot of folks talk about "escaping the permanent underclass". If AGI pans out, the future class divide won't be based on wealth, but on cognitive agency. There will be a "focus class" (those who control their attention and actually do things) and a "slop class" (those whose reward loops are fully RL-managed by AI)

If you care about the rate of AGI progress, you should be excited about a new eval that focuses research efforts by pointing out important gaps & providing a way to measure progress towards fixing them If instead you only care about having your preconceptions confirmed, too bad

When Opus 5.0 with 10M context is released, do you still have a job as a developer ?

@slow_developer @nroute_ I’ve used GPT Pro as my daily driver for months and never hit any limits. The bottleneck isn’t rate limits, it’s thinking time. With 5.4, a single request often takes 40–60+ minutes.

gpt-5.4 pro is better for finding answers not really a coding model. it will spend more time thinking and find things that opus 4.6 missed that said, it is heavily rate-limited -- and is best used when you need the most well-researched answer, not for building apps

You need investor credibility to raise. You need to raise to get investor credibility. Nobody talks about how to break that cycle.

@nroute_ @PhotaLabs Nano Banana Pro is also a great model! In my testing, I've found Phota significantly outperforms on this use case (photos of a specific person / animal) ☺️

This image model is now publicly available 🎉 @PhotaLabs is insanely good at generating AI images that actually look like you (and your pets). And it can also edit or enhance real photos to fix flaws! I've made hundreds of photos on Phota. A few things to try 👇

Truly blown away by a new AI image model launching this week ✨ Finally, you can generate photos that actually look like you! It's so much better than everything I've tried - from LoRAs to NB Pro. Onboarding some early testers. DM or comment if you want access 👀

@Param_eth Just do anything, doesn't matter, anything. I think @paulg 's quote applies a lot here. "Action produces information". When you don't know what to do, just do anything, usually it produces some information that you use.

@PeterDiamandis I saw a blog post from @omooretweets a while ago. Turns out most AI consumer apps are still just chatbots, we are indeed extremely early when it comes to making apps with AI!

I mean it truly when I say we are early to AI. ChatGPT has an average of 67.7 million users while Claude has approx. 11 million. There's 8 billion people in the world AND counting.

@pcshipp When it comes to rate limits. 20USD is just a trial. I pay for the max plan which is 100USD, insanely good rate limits. For 20USD you can't go wrong with antigravity.
