It says something about Alexia to LCL news that it's universally been greeted with a mix of amusement and contempt. The WSL might be a top league, but joining LCL now is basically the equivalent of men going to Saudi League...we know why you're going, & it ain't "the project".

If she was younger I’d have agreed with you, at age 32, for most footballers who don’t play as a goalkeeper, male or female, the peak years have passed and a move is usually gearing toward the last big paycheck before retirement. As competitive as the esl might appear to be, it has been dominated by usually just a couple of clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal and City. Not really that competitive. And let’s be honest, her going to London City Lionesses, whatever it is called, winning trophies is probably not on the list of most important things to do at this point for her. She has won everything with us.

Sooners ‘online’ softball fans are their own worst enemy 🤣 The perception of the program is much better outside of the ‘online OU 🥎 fan’ OU has won 4 of the last 5 Nattys and when the new champion is named it will be 4 of 6 That’s historic stuff. Off years happen.

Maybe you could try appreciating how hard it is to win year after year and not be so quick to see the end of it.

To all the Softball fans, the rumor mill will be filled with BS and 1/2 truths. OU’s program is legend. If players want to go elsewhere for their own reasons, power to them. So far I have not seen any of them win another Natty. Just the one they have from OU. Wish the best
