Arbitrum froze $71M.
Not a smart contract.
Not a token issuer.
The network itself.
We’re not here to say if that decision was right or wrong.
But it highlights something fundamental:
If a system can make that decision,
then that power exists.
Security vs sovereignty.
Control vs ownership.
In moments like this, you see what a system really is.
Why QF exists:
To ensure the foundations of digital life cannot be paused, frozen, or overridden.
Ownership isn’t situational.
It either exists. Or it doesn’t.

QF Network staking continues to mature.
As of the latest on-chain snapshot, roughly 437M QF is staked, representing about 43% of the total supply.
The active validator set currently includes 3 validators, all running at 0% commission.
Validator participation is supported by both ecosystem staking wallets and organic community nominators, with current nominator counts showing 19, 19, and 21 across the active set.
That matters because staking is not just about the headline number.
It also shows participation forming around the network’s validator infrastructure as QF continues moving toward stronger production readiness.
Current staking returns are around 20.7% APR, with network inflation around 9.1%.
Validator status, nominator counts, commission, rewards, and staking data are all fully verifiable on-chain through Polkadot.js.
Ecosystem staking wallets continue to support network security.
Treasury-related rewards remain part of the broader governance path as QF moves toward stronger on-chain governance, where the community can have clearer input on how those rewards are handled and deployed.
Staking payout automation is also an active engineering track.
The team has been evaluating payout tooling, fixing staking-related reward point issues, and preparing backend work for automated payout flows. The goal is simple: make staking smoother, easier to use, and less manual as the network matures.
Unstaking parameters are also visible on-chain. Based on the current Chain Constants, QF uses 100ms slots, 600 slots per session, 3 sessions per era, and a 3-era bonding duration, which points to an unusually fast unbonding window.
More infrastructure is coming online.
More builder tooling is improving.
More staking functionality is being automated.
More of the network is becoming ready for real use.

QF dev update - April 27.
A lot has moved since the last update, and the direction is still clear. The stack is getting more production-ready.
W3zard continues to push through late-stage MVP work.
The AI escrow flow has shown stable behavior in user scenarios, live validation has been strengthened, and AI testing for the escrow prompt/model path is complete. What remains is manual demo validation and full generate → setup → runtime flow testing.
Mainnet runtime work also moved forward with two separate upgrades.
Fastchain runtime upgrade v120 and parachain runtime upgrade v3 both advanced using the v0.1.31 release package.
That release included the move to Polkadot stable2603, updated testnet chain specs for both Fastchain and Parachain, and added Staking to the EventHandler type in pallet_authorship.
After those upgrades, the release track moved to v0.1.32.
This newer release focused on cleanup and future release reliability: removing old migration logic from the parachain runtime, clearing related warnings, adding a parachain release process, and bumping the node version.
Staking payout automation is now a clear engineering track.
The team has been evaluating payout tooling, fixed the erasRewardPoints issue in staking, and started backend preparation/deployment work for automated staking payouts. The important point is that the runtime and backend pieces are being wired together.
Builder tooling is improving too.
The QF testnet faucet is being deployed, making it easier for builders to test without friction. The team is also tracking the 1011 staking transaction error and continuing testnet RPC/chain spec updates.
More runtime progress.
Cleaner releases.
Staking automation in motion.
Better testnet access.
W3zard closer to full flow validation.
More of the stack is becoming ready for real use.

QF Explorer is now live.
Track activity on QF mainnet in real time:
• Search by transaction hash
• Search by extrinsic ID
• View transfer details instantly
This is v1.
Focused, functional, and built to expand.

Choosing validators matters.
Your rewards. The network’s health. Long-term alignment. It all depends on it.
Don’t just pick randomly.
Look at:
• Commission, lower isn’t always better
• Total stake, avoid overcrowded validators
• Uptime and activity, reliability matters
• Identity, transparent operators
Strong validators = stronger network.
Choose deliberately.

QF dev update.
A lot has been moving behind the scenes, and the direction is clear. The stack is maturing fast.
W3zard is now deep into late-stage MVP.
The core AI generation loop is live, backend infrastructure has been hardened, and live validation is in place. What remains is final end-to-end verification and polish.
Mainnet runtime v0.1.30 is out.
Stronger EVM-side interoperability via ERC20 precompiles, improved staking mechanics and payout logic, plus broader infra upgrades like IPv6 bootnode support.
On tooling, the block explorer is getting close.
Search by extrinsic hash or ID is in place, the GraphQL indexer is now live over HTTPS, and UI improvements are making data more accessible beyond just developers.
Testnet is also being aligned with the latest mainnet runtime. Giving builders a more accurate environment before going live.
Better tooling.
Stronger infrastructure.
Improved usability.
More of the stack is becoming ready for real use.

Almost 2 years ago, we were imagining a novel new L1 and exploring what privacy on-chain could look like.
One of the advisors we sought out wrote this article for us during that research phase.
He then went and built the very protocol he was discussing with us.
As a token of appreciation, he made $QF a fully private ERC-20 on @nullmaskio.
$QF is now live for shielded transfers and swaps on Nullmask.
Fully private QF is real now.
