How @nym's Mixnet actually works to make your transactions actually private.

Confidential DeFi has been getting real traction this year, but almost every project has had the same bottleneck. Privacy itself works, but composability doesn't. Users end up in isolated ecosystems, completely cut off from broader DeFi, where capital actually sits. The tradeoff has always been: pick privacy or composability. @iEx_ec is one of the few projects building a confidential TEE-based architecture since 2017. They're now applying that infra directly to DeFi with Confidential Tokens, with the demo live on @arbitrum Sepolia. The design is interesting because it's fully composable with DeFi ↓ → Any ERC-20 wraps into a confidential version → Balances and transfer amounts are encrypted → Works across the same DeFi protocols you already use → Unwrap back to standard ERC-20 whenever The part that actually matters for institutional adoption is selective disclosure: • Token holder decides who gets visibility • Regulator, auditor, counterparty, granular access • Everyone else sees the encrypted state • Private positions with provable compliance Despite the public perception, most of TradFi doesn't need anonymity. They need to deploy capital without the public being able to read, copy-trade, and front-run every position. That's been the blocker, not regulation, yield, or speed. They are gonna deploy on Mainnet soon, so keeping an eye.
