Kory didn't start it. People forget that during the provincial election in Ontario in February 2025 - Pierre Poilievre held multiple federal events during the Ontario PCs campaign. Many conservative volunteers had to pick between helping the Ford PCs with GOTV and the federal CPC events. Pierre Poilievre held rallies at the same time as the advanced polls. On the exact same days. The Ontario PCs could have used hundreds of volunteers to help turn out the vote at the advanced polls and Pierre * knowingly * was doing rallies to fuck up Ford. Pierre and his team did that and also talked shit to other Ford PC supporters non-stop and the media, etc. Mayors in multiple cities were strongly encouraged to not attend events supporting Ford and the PCs during the Ontario election campaign in February. Kory didn't start anything. And there has been tons of outreach by Kory, myself and others since May 2025 to sort this out and find a better way forward. They. Don't. Care. Pierre is a child. He's an immature baby. He is not a leader. He's a bitchy baby - selfish and entitled throwing tantrums. Last year, after his loss, Pierre went on to blame his campaign team and staff - more proof that he's an immature, selfish, crying baby. I'm not kissing his ring. I'm going to do whatever I can to see him out as leader. I pray to God that he becomes a - consultant lobbyist - and then I'm going to work on taking his clients away from him, one at a time for as long as I'm alive. 🙏🙏🙏
WarrenJames@HarSmiP

Enough is enough. The Pierre and Ford camps need to reach out to each other. Focus on the Liberals and how their policies have been destroying our once great nation. Unite. Even though I’m more of a Pierre supporter than Ford, as the Fed leader Pierre should take the high road, show leadership and reach out to Ford. It’s what I would do in his position. I get that Kory started it…at least in the eyes of the public. Oh well, move on. Focus on what would be best for us Canadians.

@Jl9009299088 @NickKouvalis “Warrior versus Woke” military was the latest one, saying that Carney doesn’t understand economics for another. The way he attacked Justin Trudeau when he resigned for another. That was a low point. I’m not a Trudeau fan but the guy gave years of public service, WTF

@WDiminishment @Sean_Speer @PierrePoilievre is the most positive thing to happen to Canadian politics in decades. I don't know any common sense Canadians who have negative views of him. If he has room for improvement, its to ignore Ottawa "advice" and go bolder fiscally and socially. People want change.

@NickKouvalis Nick Kouvalis is a backstabbing grifter playing for the wrong team while the country burns. This clown is crying about Pierre Poilievre “not reaching out” and whining like a butt-hurt hall monitor, while real Conservatives are trying to stop 🇨🇦 from turning into a frozen 🇻🇪.

@rupasubramanya @DrJ_surgeon Wow, even the responders to your post have their heads in the sand. It seems simple for Polievere: build a bigger tent, move a little to the centre, stop the Trumpy talk. That Warrior vs Woke stuff has got to go. Liberals are so happy with PP

It doesn't matter in an age where even boomers are reading non traditional media. You can't escape it and these sound like excuses. I can tell you as someone in the independent media space and I don't even work for any Canadian media and never have, the problem lies with the direction of the CPC.

No offence to Lilley whose perspective I respect, but I'm getting tired of the endless "Pierre Poilievre just needs this one software update to become prime minister" takes. Has everyone forgotten he's a career politician? If anyone should know what it takes to win an election, it's him. A quick recap: he couldn't win the election. He couldn't hold his own seat. He's struggled to keep his MPs. And the Conservatives are polling no better than they did under previous leaders. He's still running yesterday's campaign in tomorrow's election. The endless advice by his well-wishers that he just needs to adjust this or fix that reeks of desperation. Politics is ultimately about results. If the evidence keeps pointing in the same direction, it's time to accept that his path to becoming prime minister is narrow and that the Conservatives should start looking for new leadership and fresh blood in the form of a genuine political outsider, not a career politician.

I want Pierre Poilievre to be our next Prime Minister. I’m starting to question if he wants the job though given his antics. torontosun.com/opinion/column…

What's wild for anyone to believe including the NYT is that Trump doesn't know this. Just watch you will see. US and Mexico are going to sign the free trade agreements of all agreements along with auth to wipe out the cartels. Canada will be left holding the bag feeding 10's of millions of non assimilating foreigners and an economy which rivals North Korea . Praying no republican gets elected in 2028 because if so it's light out in Canada.

The two-part Wall Street Journal deep dive into how Mark Carney worked with European leaders to lessen dependence on Trump’s America is superbly reported. But I’m worried about whether and how the president will lash out at Canada in revenge.

@MarcLevesqueEco @RobynUrback I lived in France for 10 months and found health care accessible and affordable. There are some user pay requirements in the system (for the French); I agree that we need to explore other models.

@RobynUrback diagnosed with sinusitis. He paid about $100, and was certainly reimbursed by his travel insurance. France is known for having one of the best health care systems in the world. We need to look at these European models, instead of screaming « US-style health care » all the time.

Canada spends well above the OECD average and performs worse on many key metrics so no, simply spending more is not the answer. But this sort of thinking explains why we’ve become complacent with a system that is failing millions, especially the most vulnerable
Rachel Gilmore@atRachelGilmore

Or they could ~experiment~ with actually properly funding the existing model and creating incentives for more Canadians to go into healthcare!!! You are literally playing into the “break it so they can privatize it” agenda, which is unsurprising but still very gross!

🚨🚨Houston Texans star QB CJ Stroud opened up about his father's current incarceration, revealing that the conditions in many prisons, including dealing with severe overcrowding, rats, and roaches, are fundamentally inhumane. While Stroud explicitly noted that people who commit crimes absolutely need to serve their time, he argued that stripping away their basic human dignity is not the answer. His father, a former pastor, is currently serving a 38-year-to-life sentence in California following a 2015 drug-fueled spiral. Via Sports Illustrated. #NFL #Houston #Texans

@Jakegreeneggs @mtracey It was a guarantee that was backed by NATO countries and Western powers . And now Trump has pissed off every ally. In almost all big world conflicts Europe and Canada helped America police international norms. Now, Trump has ruined that. So yes, you are the police. Good luck

Chronically unable to reach past the pinched, partisan take. If PP feels renovation of 24 Sussex is such an insult, let him haul ass out of Stornoway tomorrow. Carney has pulled a page from Pearson and the flag design competition of the 60s. In time, it will be celebrated.
CPAC@CPAC_TV

"When I see the homelessness on our streets & I see the young people who are desperate to start families but can't get a house to do it, I just think the last thing on our mind should be 24 Sussex drive," says Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre on future of 24 Sussex. #cdnpoli

Imagine, for a moment, if every federal party leader stood together and issued a joint statement: “Today, we welcome the Government of Canada’s decision to restore 24 Sussex Drive. Regardless of our political differences, we recognize that the official residence of Canada’s Prime Minister is a national institution that belongs to all Canadians—not to any one government or political party. If we were in government, we too would proceed with these necessary renovations. This is about preserving our history, our democracy, and one of the country’s most important national symbols for future generations. We will therefore encourage our members, supporters, and donors across Canada to contribute—whether $5, $50, or $500—to help restore this historic residence. Together, Canadians can ensure that 24 Sussex once again reflects the dignity, heritage, and international stature of our country.” Some things are simply bigger than politics. Preserving Canada’s national institutions should be one of them. PS: in honour of my late mother Georgia who came to Canada with very little, my family pledges a donation for what is the home of all Canadians.
