Do you aspire to be a Good Ancestor? We live these values each day and greatly encourage others to do the same. It is time to be proud of our legacy to this wonderful planet. "linkedin.com/pulse/do-you-a… on @LinkedIn

A warm and somewhat pre-emptive welcome to The Fax Club Experiment @campbellclaret and @RoryStewartUK. I’m hoping to hand over this copy of our book to Alastair this morning at @BlueEarthSummit. Please excuse my hand writing - this is the first time I’ve dedicated a book!

@MartinSLewis Great to see you’re raising awareness on the power of pensions. Fascinated where the discussion leads tonight because most people are completely clueless (fault of education system) until on the verge of retirement. We market pensions contributions as your vote for the future!

I'm writing my graphics for tonight's pensions show (8pm ITV, important one don't miss it). Just sketched this scrappy one for "pension superpower number 1" now the real key is what Nick, our graphics superhero will turn it into (I'll polish the text once he's done first draft)

@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow Perhaps a good opportunity tonight to draw the link between our ongoing pension investments into fossil fuel companies and the intensifying weather patterns we’re experiencing. We at @pangeaimpact have created a much better pension solution for people and planet.

About to leave to do the 75 minute walk to the studio for the important @itvMLshow pension special tonight. Its absolutely pouring down lions & wolves, even my commitment to steps is wavering, but I'm going to put my big football manager style coat on and brave it anyway.

@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow Your pension is a consistent vote for our collective future. On that basis, why do we continue to vote for companies, through our monthly pension contributions, that ensure a less liveable planet in our retirement?

@WriterHannahBT Yes, two swans this morning paddling in the sea. An egret on the rocks. And I followed a kingfisher around the cove this evening on a paddle board. Very still air for a few days brings all manner of bird life to our little corner of the coast.

I need some bird love - who’s seen who today? Bird wise? Any special moments?

A map of all the open pen salmon farms throttling the Norwegian coast line like a virus. Unchecked greed from a handful of Norwegian billionaires coupled with pisspoor gov regulation has led to acute demise of the wild Atlantic salmon stock once so prolific here. Don’t buy it.

We tend to think of ancestors as only being in the past. But let's remember that all of us alive right now are the ancestors of future generations. The question we must ask ourselves is: are we acting with the responsibility that we want as ancestors of the future?

Spica is the brightest object in the constellation of Virgo, one of the brightest stars in the sky, part of a system whose two stars are so close together they are EGG-SHAPED. I’m not a star sign kinda person BUT I like this link. And today is my birthday. Also Virgo has wings.

The Green Party is simply a harder-left version of Labour. We don’t have any ‘green’ party in the sense of a party whose attention is focused on the protection and restoration of the natural world; a party for those of us for whom nature is the biggest issue. It’s a huge shame.

“I used to think that the top environmental problems were biodiversity loss, ecosystem collapse and climate change. I thought that thirty years of good science could address these problems. I was wrong. The top environmental problems are selfishness, greed and apathy, and to deal with these we need a cultural and spiritual transformation. And we scientists don’t know how to do that.” ~ Gus Speth

@LewisPugh Well done Lewis. Great to be raising awareness on river ecosystems. Would love to hear best & worst practices in the States - particularly in comparison to our horribly polluted rivers in the UK. Keep it up - one stroke at a time.

A truly damaging debt spiral. “Earning money as quickly as possible in order to pay back the creditors is therefore priority number one. It means there is no more room for patience and such pesky things like sustainability or climate justice.” theguardian.com/global-develop…

8) An Inconvenient Truth (2006) - perhaps the first climate focused documentary that made us stand up and take note. Narrated by Al Gore, it tells the story of human generated emissions and their effect on the climate. Somewhat shocking at the time, it has proven to be accurate.
