I am so glad the bulk of the stuff I love was released LOOOONG before the "Wokeness" debates. I can only imagine the response so many works would get if they were debuting today. I find the Wokeness War more detrimental to Gaming than the concerns about violence were. Grummz, Anita S, and many others are more toxic and harmful to gaming discourse than Jack Thompson and his ilk ever were.

@nuancedfreesoul The difference between these two was how they came off. Veggitales taught you to be a good person, and many who weren't religious actually likes the show. Compare it to DreamWorks Prince of Egypt. Kids shows now are grooming, propaganda and full on narcissism.

I guess we watched different cartoons, because mine didn't feature biblical verses. Mine featured Superheroes, Gargoyles, Biker Mice from Mars, Samurai Pizza Cats, alot of anime, etc.

@nuancedfreesoul They’re not really assimilating though. The sort of person you’re imagining are far and few between - What’s happening is that societies are steadily changing into something else, even in the places that aren’t turning into enclaves, are losing ethnic and national identity.

The UK is waking up. Immigrants who refuse to assimilate are the ones ruining it both for locals and immigrants who do assimilate.
