Sam Dekker was in the house for an absolute classic of a D5 semifinal #wisbb between Sheboygan Lutheran and Reedsville. @dekker's Crusaders fall by three in this one, 75-72, but the game certainly brought back memories of the Dekker game-winner in the 2012 title game.

On the subbing question: Siena had seven scholarship players available. The two off the bench were both freshmen who shoot 35% or worse from the field. A 90-second breather wouldn't have magically made anyone on Siena any less tired down the stretch. G-Mac played it right.

@THEbadgermaniac so - a quick glance at the box score and some figuring - HP shot 0.571 on 2s with Winter in the game, and 0.308 with Winter on the bench (and yes, some of the makes were layups were Winter was trailing the play)

@nuclearbdgr Small sample size. Interior defense was MUCH better with him on the floor. Can't blame him for opposing guards hitting 25 footers.

Winter being on a pitch count mattered today. Team was simply better with him in the floor, especially defensively. Being able to play only 20 minutes was a factor.
