a lot of words, that barely anyone will read: in 2021 i dropped out of college making $300 a month through content editing. my mom paid for my gas, groceries, and i had no rent. i told my mom to give me a semester off because i knew my capabilities as a creative and within that first month i already scaled to $2500 in one month. progressing $3500 as time went on because i was that good everyone wanted to work with me i kept growing and growing through the years, until the beginning of this year i was losing clients left and right, people were quitting, they couldn't afford me. i had to rely on my savings for rent, groceries, gas because i was making barely anything. it was horrifying being back down to that $500 a month like the last 4 years meant nothing. but i knew i was really fucking good at what i do, like REALLY good. i would get into arguments with clients when they would give me revisions because my ego was so high i felt they were delusional in trying to think they could critique my work. it was my fatal flaw that caused problems as time went on. now we're at the end of the year and i'm making the most money i ever have, surrounded by people that i adore and uplift me to not only be a better creative, but to be an EXTREMELY better human being. and every individual that takes the time to read this knows who you are and i love you deeply. what i'm getting at with all of this is Marty Supreme is an insane movie, focused on a character that has so much ego he'll manipulate his way to the top, solely because of his dreams. and when you dream big you SHOULD take righteous decisions (don't follow in Marty's footsteps though). if i never dropped out, i would have never found these spectacular people in my life, i would have never seen the potential in myself, i would have never learned how to be a better person, i would feel like a loser. but i took a risk because i knew my potential, and i'm so proud of myself for doing that and i would go through all the stress and sorrow if i knew this would be my outcome dream big.
