Lagos sources say the duo currently highly favoured to become the GAC’s choice in the All Progressives Congress selection process for Governor and Deputy Governor are:
- Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat — current Deputy Governor of Lagos State (Epe Division)
- Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin — current Secretary to the Lagos State Government (Badagry Division)
Strong indications suggest ongoing consultations within the Governors Advisory Council, with zoning considerations and party dynamics playing a key role as momentum gradually builds toward the 2027 governorship race in Lagos.

Buhari paid subsidy on everything - petrol, dollars, electricity, CBN loans, took ways and means from the CBN to balance expenditure, yet you called him clueless, illiterate etc. Tinubu is doing the exact opposite, and here you are complaining again. You can't oppose Buhari's method and still come out to criticise Tinubu's method in less than 3 years. You have to be pathologically daft, for real.
