bruce banner #3: the incredible pheno 🟢 💥 🧬 montana roots: before dark horse genetics, jason holck was a denver kid growing quietly at the university of montana. bruce banner was created there as a small mid-2000s hunt, before seed-company polish or legal market hype. 🍓 rez male: during the strawberry diesel craze, Holck scored a reservoir seeds pack through seedbay. the male side was rez strawberry diesel, listed in old forum notes as sour diesel x kksc. 🌲 kush female: the female side was coal creek kush, tied to an old-school la og pheno in colorado. it later carried names like cold creek kush, original og, 10k og & la kush, showing how blurry clone lore already was. 🧪 tiny hunt: from the rez strawberry diesel female x coal creek kush male came strawberry kush #1, #3 & #5, from fewer than a dozen seeds. #1 blended both sides. 3 leaned hardest into og fuel, resin & potency. 5 showed more sweet strawberry diesel. 🎸 banner name: at a string cheese incident show, a texas friend kept calling holck “bruce banner” while hunting more strawberry kush. it was not meant to appeal to kids. it was a joke on holck’s last name, & a discreet way to tag the strain in cannabis’ darker days. 🏥 denver launch: in 2008, frustrated with the market, holck opened delta 9 alternative medicine in denver, 1 of colorado’s first 20 dispensaries. bruce banner was one of the original 12 house strains, & word spread fast. 💨 3 legend: 3 became the rocket-fuel cut. it had the og gas, potency, resin, yield & market power to turn a house strain into a citywide obsession. by 2009, bruce banner 3 was reviewed from delta 9 caregivers, & by 2010 drop days had patients lining up. 🏆 top 25 stamp: in 2013, bruce banner 3 tested at 28.35% thc at the denver cannabis cup. in 2014, @HIGH_TIMES_Mag ranked it 9 on its 25 greatest strains of all time list, moving banner into strain-history canon. 🧬 clone truth: the real bruce banner 3 is a selected clone, not just any seed pack with the name. its story is rez strawberry diesel, coal creek kush, delta 9 hype & dark horse selection. 🟢 small hunt, big smash. bruce banner #3 went full hulk. - @nuggnotes🪴
