#Philippines: Ahead of the verdicts in journalist Frenchie Mae Cumpio’s case on Thursday, CPJ urges the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to uphold its pledge to protect press freedom. A court will rule on January 22 whether Cumpio is guilty on charges of possession of firearms and financing terrorism.
