@IIvanovic53595 Each module implement separate IC logic and then board module merges them into one project that can be run on single FPGA chip. You can try to put chips to separate FPGA chips, but that would be pointless IMO, I only tested this design on DE10-Nano FPGA board.

@nukeykt Yes. The *v files for each chip are on GitHub. Are these for each individual FPGA, or are they parts of a single project for a debug station? Is it possible to build a replica of the console by replacing each chip with an FPGA? We can discuss this via my Gmail: ivanichiv99

@RCAVictorCo maybe it is similar to master system vdp? MS VDP loads pixel data to parallel input/serial output dram. Data is loaded during hblank, and start to output to color bus once horizontal counter threshold is hit

The V9958 uses a line buffer, but instead of a typical SRAM structure, it has eight repetitive latch arrays connected to the internal DRAM buses. To reduce storage space, it appears that only attributes are stored, rather than buffers. Most arcade boards used SRAMs for buffers.

@cosam_the_great lol, the reason of glitch is that TEST0 is shared test signal between FM and IO blocks, by default FM outputs 53khz pulse signal to that pin, and IO reads it as TEST enable signal, causing test data going to its status register, if not grounded FM pulse will loopback to IO block

@RCAVictorCo I think layer between poly and metal could be via layer. Also there's test pattern that shows which layers can be interconnected heh Numbered same way as mask revision letters are ordered I think
