@NoSoloBits Tomb Raider was ported to the N-Gage, so a GBA port was obviously possible. I remember playing Monkey Ball on N-Gage, and the GBA port was very similar.

I don’t get your complaints concerning the main menu music We knew you love the main menu themes, so we decided it was an excellent idea to make you play the whole game with the music looping 24h/7 until you until you hate it so much that you grab your console and throw it out

ok what is this? why the main menu music continues in croft manor? it only stops when she speaks, and the subtitles do not disappear they stay. This is a mess. I wonder what else is messed up. @AspyrMedia @tombraider

Descent II is widely considered the best of the three main Descent games (Descent 1 in 1995, Descent II in 1996, and Descent 3 in 1999). One of its most impactful additions was the Guide-Bot, which helped players navigate the maze-like mines. It also had the best soundtrack and the strongest single-player mode of the three. The original Descent innovated with its six degrees of freedom, and Descent III had the best graphics, but neither matched the immersion and “feel” that Descent II achieved. Fun fact: The Omega Cannon was so frame-rate dependent and network-flooding that it was universally banned from competitive multiplayer games to prevent server crashes. Also, escaping the mine after the self-destruct sequence was activated still triggers PTSD…

@xIWanderlustIx @LaraCroftsSoul @tombraider idk, TRX2 has better system, outfits won't reload each time and don't require their runtime conversion of vertex data (I see what bastards did in the RenderDoc), so it can handle more highres outfits out of the box, seems like they didn't have the access to the code/brains

@ClassicREbirth btw, they didn't use multipart character sprites on PS1, but seems like at some point they used this to optimize memory usage, so the heads of some characters look static. Here is the comparison for Jax (Arcade vs PS1)
