Of all the things Alperen Şengün didn't do well this series, his switch defense was NOT one of them.
I would *actually* argue Al-P's switch defense was very good, and there were many moments like this that prove it.

Giannis is significantly better than Alpi. He would’ve destroyed Ayton 1 on 1 and we probably win this series even without KD. And we probably win 60 games if Giannis/KD/FVV are healthy. But cashing in all our assets for an injured 31 year old on the decline feels so pointless.

Why am I so protective of the player who averaged 26-6-5 on 52/41/87 splits? That’s 64 TS‼️‼️ He’s going to make All-NBA 2nd team!!
Doesn’t even factor how insanely impactful he’s been defensively or all the games he flat out carried the Rockets to a win this season.

He was good, but I don’t get why Will and Brad are so protective of KD... Rockets weren’t better than last year in any way. KD kept losing the ball to double teams, his defense declined, he underperformed in clutchs, missed too many fts But yeah, sure he had a “historic” season

Thought it was pretty obvious that the dude who was willing to risk his career to play for the Warriors in the playoffs was clearly too hurt to play in game 3.
Just insanely bad luck for a guy who played 78 games during the regular season.
