well....there is a reason we have elected officials....we elect them so we don't have to vote on every law, every bill....they do....that's why the system is set up the way it is....you cannot govern by consensus. You have to trust that the people we put into office make most of the decisions we agree with....but governing is also compromise....you will never get everything you want....otherwise nothing will get done.
