Omoo artists/designers what do you do if a client has rejected 13 of your logo idea?😕

@dnaijatechguy It was complicated until I enrolled in a learning center so i go to class everyday for 2hours , i listen to podcasts on the go, i have a collection of saved up IG videos plus i am constantly on my dictionary app😩

@nustapeter That’s awesome, how’s it been combining work and learning French. I think when work gets a bit intense I find myself slowing down on it entirely

I feel like one stereotype I saw online often before I moved to France was that Parisians are rude. Been living in Paris for about 7 months and I’ve never experienced that . Every one I’ve met here has been really helpful.

@dnaijatechguy It’s been a good journey so far. I’ve been learning French, passed my DELF A2 exam and I’m now preparing for B1. At the same time, I’m integrating into my community, freelancing, and raising a bilingual 2 year old.

I recently had a client not go through with a project after i sent them a proposal and they went on to work with another designer, i saw the designs from the other designer and i now understand why; it was the budget, definitely.

@dnaijatechguy This could be it. Next month marks four years for me, and I still haven’t really experienced it. Being mostly introverted, I guess I wouldn’t really know.

Maybe it’s because I naturally don’t expect strangers to smile at me randomly and engage in small talk when not needed.

Working on another children’s book project, and this time I’m collaborating with my wife. We already had our first creative disagreement before I even finished the cover… now I’m curious to see what the rest of the project has in store for us. 😅

i think god intentionally never puts me in certain situations because i go kill person. i’m not married yet but i am a very very traditional man with a strong reliance on christian values. lord and saviour brought my wife to me and you dey put hands on her? as who? 😹😹.

I recently built the Datway Records identity on a simple truth: music moves people. It directs energy, culture, and creativity somewhere new. That’s where the signpost symbol comes in. It represents direction, discovery, and the journey artists take as they find their sound.

I just want to keep designing and creating, no matter where AI takes the industry 😅

@leyeConnect I truly believe that when the dust settles over the next few decades, we’ll find our way back to designs shaped by human hands and human thought.

I miss the south of France so much that i keep having dreams about being on vacation😩😩

@nustapeter that was me and my previous phone. 2019 to 2024. 😹. that’s the proper way to use a phone. there really isn’t much change.
