We’ve been testing something. We shared the same post across platforms. On one, it reached thousands of people and generated strong engagement. On here, despite a much larger following, it reached fewer than 1,000 people. That matters. Because when our posts don’t reach you, the dogs don’t get seen. We want to stay here, this is where many of you have supported us for a very long time, and that’s important to us. But while our reach is limited, we will be posting less here, sorry 😢We hope things return to normal soon. If you do come across one of our posts, any interaction helps keep it visible. If we don’t show up when you expect us, it’s always worth checking our page we’re still here, just not as much right now.

There's a lot going on in my life. This 1 is a bit of a challenge. I was feeling an intermittent tingling in my right arm (ulnar side). Turns out my sleep position (arms crossed over chest) might cause it! So, I have to consciously position my arms differently going to sleep 🤷

I’ve found that once you pass a certain age, each day is like a box of Cracker Jacks… you never know what’s in store for you! My biggest bugaboo of late is gout in my left toe and apparently a little bit of one of the ‘itis boys in my right hip. I keep thinking, “I used to be so cool!” 😂

Guess who absolutely SLAYED the intermediate rally obedience trial today? Me! Again! 99 out of 100! 🏆 Snagged another shiny high in class ribbon and the high point prize, a brand-new stuffed toy. Friday's high point prize was a monogrammed dog bathing towel. A TOWEL. Human was super excited and living her best life. I gave it the slowest, most judgmental side-eye known to dogkind. Zero interest. Today's Advanced round? One suspiciously flirtatious dog near the ring turned my brain into full popcorn chaos. I still qualified and nailed every station — even weaved the cones and circled the human’s wheelchair perfectly while barely taking my eyes off him. Talented, I know. First show of the season always gets spicy! Winter isn’t exactly wheelchair-friendly, so I haven’t seen many strange dogs lately. The few we meet at training are usually the same old crew in small groups. Off-leash and gear-free at a big trial? Those excited new dogs suddenly look like the most fascinating thing since sliced liver — total novel overload! But once again, I was the only one out there rocking it with a human on wheels, and my confidence is strutting back like it owns the place. Good day, tiny chaos, zero regrets. Now I just have to guard this toy like it’s the last squeaky ribeye in the universe before my ego-filled little brother, Kenji the mooseweiler with delusions of grandeur — launches Operation Black-and-Tan Mayhem: full fluff explosion, dramatic zoomie cover, and strategic limb-by-limb dismemberment. 🔪Send backup. Or bacon.🥓🥓🥓 #GoodestGirl #HighPoint #DogTrial #ServiceRottie

After being rescued from a petting zoo, a special Camel had trouble fitting in with the other animals on the rescue farm. He wanted nothing more than to be friends with all the Horses and Alpacas, but they had never seen a Camel before. After a while, they realised that he was just a funny version of them, so they began to warm up to him, and now it has become part of the herd 🐪 ❤️. 🎦 Credit: Unknown (DM for credit.

Can you please share? All of our income to help animals is raised by us, we don’t get any funding at all. It’s a personal service to help owners who go into hospital, pass away or simply can’t keep their pets anymore. There is always a reason and always a story where an animal needs help. £8.99 might not seem much to you, but to us every £8.99 really does help. It helps with the rising costs of fuel, food, vets fees and transport to help animals to foster care/new homes. If you can spare £8.99 you’ll receive one of our new Help2Rehome Tote bags and a personal note to say thanks, handwritten by one of our team. You can get yours here square.link/u/he8zEDn7?src… We know not everyone has spare funds, however you can still help by sharing our appeal and we’d be so grateful for either🙏🏼 🐶 🐾 🏠 🐈‍⬛

Oxford University researchers have discovered the densest element yet known to science... The new element, Governmentium (symbol=Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called pillocks. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second, to take from 4 days to 4 years to complete. Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2 to 6 years. It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganisation in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganisation will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as a critical morass. When catalysed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium (symbol=Ad), an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium, since it has half as many pillocks but twice as many morons.

There are very few people in life I look up to, or look for inspiration, a tough childhood upbringing does that to you, the choices I have made in adult life is all down to me, no one else, the ‘choices’ made for me In childhood, I had no say in the matter. We are, who we are, for good reasons, fate is fate, you are either born with a kind heart, or you aren’t. Kindness costs nothing, it’s free. @NiallHarbison An Angel Among Us Once a fallen angel, wings heavy with doubt, You walked through shadows, searching for light. Now, with gentle hands and a heart opened wide, You lift up the voiceless, our faithful dogs in need. You inspire millions with every rescue, every care, Turning pain into hope, with love beyond compare. Niall, you shine as an angel who walks among men, Healing the broken, and mending souls again. Thank you for the compassion that lights up the way, For the lives you’ve saved, and the love you display. May your path be blessed, as you continue to give. A true angel on Earth, teaching us how to live.

Donald Sutherland spent six days in a Yugoslav hospital in 1969 with spinal meningitis so severe that doctors told his wife he was already dead while Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer waited to decide whether to recast him in Kelly’s Heroes. The studio expected a war movie. Sutherland was fighting for oxygen. He collapsed on November 25, 1969, during filming near Vis island. Crew members rushed him to a military hospital in Zagreb where his temperature hit 104 and his blood pressure crashed. Nurses placed him in an isolation room and told director Brian G. Hutton, “Do not expect him back.” Sutherland drifted in and out of consciousness. In his memoir he wrote, “I was gone. I heard voices that did not belong to this world.” Hospital logs marked him as “critical, unresponsive.” Back in London, his wife Shirley Douglas received a call from the production office telling her he “had passed.” The information came from an early hospital report and reached her before doctors corrected it. She booked a flight to Yugoslavia with a black dress in her suitcase. Hours later the embassy contacted her again and said he was alive but “unlikely to recover quickly.” Sutherland woke on the sixth day with a tube in his throat. He asked the doctor, “Can I finish the film?” The doctor stared at him and said, “If you stand, you can try.” He stood the next morning and returned to set two weeks later, twenty pounds lighter, with a hospital bracelet still on his wrist. His contract paid $40,000 for the role, and the studio refused to cover his medical stay because the illness did not occur on set. He paid the bill himself before flying home. Donald Sutherland did not just survive meningitis. He forced his way back into a film the studio almost moved on without him and refused to let anyone else finish the work he started.
