A mini 6-axis arm driven by stepper motors with custom 3D printed split ring planetary gearboxs and an inverted belt differential wrist with custom bearings, driven by low-cost stepper motors and TMC5150 drivers.
Custom firmware was written in C for the STM32 MCU on an BTT Octopus board, to allow for full closed loop PID control using AS5048a encoders daisy-chained over SPI.
The controller takes joint targets and returns joint states to a Raspberry Pi 5 streamed over CAN bus.

没有马达,没有齿轮。
MIT直接用AI控制的纤维,造出了真正的人造肌肉。
单根重量只有2克。
现在的机器人,关节里塞满了笨重的圆柱形伺服电机。
MIT把这条路掀翻了。
他们做了一种软体管子,里面装满带电液体和一个微型电泵。
只要通上电,泵就会向流体注入电荷。
电荷产生离子,直接拖着液体跑。
管子的一侧收缩,另一侧立刻放松。
这跟人类弯曲手臂时,二头肌和三头肌的反应一模一样。
最大的突破在于它的扩展性。
因为它是一根根的纤维,可以直接像真肌肉一样成束捆绑。
想增加力量就多捆几根,轻松提起好几公斤的重物。
想要更快的速度就并联微型泵,100毫秒就能把物体弹射出去。
在测试里,这套人工肌肉装进机械臂,硬核地举起了哑铃。
同时又能精准控制力度,温柔地跟人握个手。
不需要外置储液罐,没有多余线缆,全程完全静音。
从假肢、可穿戴设备到工业外骨骼,底层架构全变了。
当工程师不再死磕马达,开始向生物学借方案,机器的进化才真正提速。
