Don’t listen to the people trying to turn this into some kind of bullshit it isn’t. A $43K loss is simply tuition. Expensive tuition. The only thing that matters now is whether you’re honest enough to identify the exact decision that caused it and disciplined enough to never let it happen again. Most traders don’t fail because they’re unintelligent. They fail because they keep repeating the same emotional mistake under different market conditions and calling it bad luck. You said the satisfaction is gone. That usually happens when trading stops being execution and starts becoming emotional entertainment. The market will humble anybody chasing dopamine instead of process. Take a step back. Review every decision. Size. Timing. Bias. Overtrading. Revenge trading. Lack of patience. The answer is in there somewhere. A painful loss can either sharpen you permanently or start the slow death spiral of forcing trades trying to get it back. The choice is yours. The best traders in the world have all been punched in the mouth by this game. As you know, I lost 7 figures in a few hours. The difference is the ones who succeed in trading only had to learn the lesson once.
