Asha has said we will do 1-2 exclusives a year, then evaluate. All they do is lie. They said there never was a Gears E-day PS5 version 🤥I don't know how Xbox can survive this man. @Septic_Sauce @sgaragarru87 Gamepass Ultimate is close to $300 a year where I live and will probably just get gears and cod and 12 month essential for about $240 and own those 2 games. Probably just a small percentage of players who will find GPU worthwhile.

@oliver_drk That is why they have lost trust with gamers and it is risky to buy their hardware and build a library with them. Sony is not exactly a consumer friendly company but you know what to expect with them even if most of their games do not appeal to me.

@dailyhubranx Disappointing news it was suppose to go to PlayStation 5 but shelved at last minute. There are people who are not even gears fans want it to be Xbox console exclusive at the expense of the developer and ps fanbase. Hope they backtrack soon and say it’s a short time exclusive.

Gears Of War E-Day PS5 will most likely be announced somewhere around Q2 2027. Why? 1. They already worked on the PS5 version which is almost finished. Microsoft is not gonna leave tens of millions of dev work go to waste. 2. It was a last minute decision just to push a big BS exclusive marketing agenda. 3. They confused PC fans by saying Gears is a console exclusive despite it being day 1 on PC. 4. This is more embarrassing than " just 4 games " quote from Phil Spenser. Lastly, this sudden move from Microsoft might have some serious consequences, probably even legal, as certain contracts and deals are made years in advance. Pivoting like this is not a good sign. And the fact that they could only secure 2 games as " console exclusives" ( again, stupid marketing speak) is probably because Microsofts lawyers could find some loopholes for them. Looking at it from a purely business and legal perspective ( I'm not a lawyer) things could get messy for Microsoft. But again... I seriously doubt that they're their messaging. Just from the simple fact that I've read these statements and announcements 1000 times over the past 10 years. One more thing. Why is Microsoft so afraid of a tiny minority of consumers and risking confusing their big bread and butter? I'm talking the PC crowd. Imagine Sony makes a big announcement like : ALL GAMES ARE CONSOLE EXCLUSIVE! and you do a quick Google search and you'd see that actually all games are day 1 on PC as well, and day one PS plus PC as well. How would you react to this kind of flip flopping? I just find it so distasteful to lie to your core audience like that. I'm not a lawyer. But I did work in sales and marketing for over 10 years, including Europe and others... I see through this bullshit so clearly.. like so clearly that I'd expect Xbox and Microsoft with their Trillion Dollar Budgets to have better BS spokespeople. So will Gears E-Day come to PS5? Personally I couldn't care less, I think it's a great game and I might get it on PC. But what I care about is the constant lies and reinventing the meaning of words and confusing the shit out of everyone.

Xbox Guys. The other games had contracts they had to stay on PlayStation. So Gears E Day had no contract? How could they even freeaking make a PS version without one? How could they get the PS5 Dev kit without one? Neither Senua nor State of Decay 3 was announced for PS. Stop the cope.

Now it will cost close to $700 for a potential new Xbox player to play that game…cost of Xbox console, game, Xbox essential. I love gears and looking into getting a used s consol but then GPU is too expensive

Gears reloaded was a remaster of a remaster. Everyone wanted the Gears Trilogy Remaster/Remake. Not Gears 1 released for the 3rd time.
