About 2 weeks ago, I randomly got permanently banned on VRChat out of nowhere. I play VRChat a good amount, recently not as much as i used to. but atm I've been getting on about 1 or 2 times a week for some active events like dancing with close friends and watching some Youtube with close friends in overlay or on media players, or playing some minigames. I never go to public worlds and I randomly got banned with the message: "Your account has been permanently suspended due to severe or repeated violations of our Community Guidelines." This was really weird and surprising since I don't really see anyone except close friends. I don't do anything weird either. I'm mute so I don't talk in game. and also typing wise I'm very wholesome too. I never even swear or anything either. I've also never even received a warning or ban or anything before either. I read the whole community guidelines many times now. and really can't find anything i did wrong. It also doesn't help that the ban reason I got is so vague. and they won't tell me anything more specific either. one thing that could be the closest thing to a rule broken has been that recently i was getting spam friend requests from weird bots with like creepy pedophile links in their bio and weird names. I've been reporting those accounts. the amount of reports i did could maybe be considered report spam? or maybe those bots have spam reported me... idk The unban request I've submitted just get shut down without any explanation. and from the responses I've gotten I feel like they are not even being read. asking for an unban and saying: "We understand you are requesting additional clarification regarding an enforcement on this VRChat account". that wasn't the question i asked... that is a response I'd expect if only the title of the request was read. not the whole thing. the second unban request I send got shut down saying: "your actions on VRChat have been found to violate our Community Guidelines" so dancing with friends or watching something in my overlay, or taking a nap, is not allowed anymore? since that is like close to all that I've been doing this year in VRChat. like i said, I read all the guidelines so many times already. nothing like that is in there. I'm really lost on what to do now. this is really really important to me so i want to try everything possible to get back to my friends and be able to play again. If anyone can help me in any way, please let me know... #VRChat
