The first visit of Jesus was a visit of redemption and grace, and taking the wrath that we deserve on himself, for those who believe in Him. But even his own did not receive him and this is the judgment. The light came into the world but people loved the darkness instead of the light. The next visit of Jesus is one of sword, wrath, and judgment towards all who have not believed in Him and have not, out of overflowing gratitude, denied themselves to follow Him.
